The following terms and conditions apply to the Save Animals Fund website. This includes the mobile and tablet versions, as well as any other version of the website that can be accessed through a desktop, mobile, tablet, social media or other device.

By using the website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy. In these terms, "we", "us", "our" and Save Animals Fund refer to Save Animals Fund and "you" and “your" refer to you, the user.

2. ACCOUNT

If you register on Save Animals Fund, you will be required to choose a password, and you may be asked for additional information regarding your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify Save Animals Fund of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you log out from your account at the end of each session. You may never use another User’s account without prior authorization from Save Animals Fund. Save Animals Fund will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this agreement.

By providing Save Animals Fund with your email address and phone number, you agree that we may use your email address and phone number to send you notices and information about the website and fundraising campaigns. We may also use your email address and phone number to send you notifications, push notifications and other messages, such as changes to website features, news and relevant content. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you may opt-out of receiving them by sending us your request through the contact information or by using the "unsubscribe" option in emails or mobile notifications. Opting out may prevent you from receiving emails about updates, news or relevant content.

Users may cancel their accounts at any time and for any reason by sending us their request through our contact information. Such cancellation will only result in the deletion of the account and the removal of all personal data granted to Save Animals Fund.

Save Animals Fund reserves the right to terminate your account or your access immediately, with or without notice, and without liability to you, if Save Animals Fund believes that you have breached any of these terms, provided Save Animals Fund with false or misleading information, or interfered with any other party's use of the platform or service.

3. HOW IT WORKS

Create a Campaign

In just a few minutes time, you can log in and create a campaign. It is really easy and it is free to launch. NOTE: Be sure to take your time to tell your story well and include informative photos and videos. Let people know why this is important to you. People want to know who you are and why they should donate to your fundraising campaign. Communicating your need well is the first step toward funding it.

Launch Your Campaign

The system will walk you through creating your campaign. Be sure save at each section. After you finish the required areas, you can submit your Animal Fundraising Campaign. Your Campaign will be reviewed and once accepted, it will go live. You will be notified. This is usually within a few hours, 24 hours max.

Spread the Word

Let people know they can help you by visiting your fundraising page. On your campaign dashboard you will have: a link to your campaign, the ability to send emails to people and the ability to connect with social networks.

Collect Your Donations

Within your campaign dashboard, you can request funds at any time. We will verify that you have your payment account set up and may ask for more verification before sending funds.

4. TYPES OF ANIMAL FUNDRAISERS ACCEPTED

Users may create fundraising campaigns related to the following organizations or purposes:

Personal Fundraising for Beloved Pets: Thousands of pets are euthanized daily because of the rising costs of life saving needed medical procedures. We want to put an end to unneeded euthanizations by providing a fundraising platform solely for animals in need. If you, or someone you know, cannot afford medical treatment for your pet, please start a fundraiser so we can help them before it is too late.

Organizations: Animal rescues, animal shelters, foster animal organizations, wildlife organizations and organizations providing care, support and relief to animals in need and/or crisis, we want to offer you a new way to raise money to help support your valiant efforts. Please start a fundraiser, so we can help get the word out to potential donors to support your mission!

Non-Profits: Animal based non-profits working tirelessly to help animals in need, we want to help you raise money too! Start a fundraiser and/or register with us so other people can choose your organization when fundraising.

5. OUR RULES

For the purpose of creating fundraising campaigns users must comply with the following rules and requirements:

Be honest.
Provide accurate information and images for your campaign.
Using images of you and your animals work best, but you can also use other images.
You will need to set up an account with PayPal, our payment processor, linking your bank account, before your campaign and vision will be public.
No bullying, harassment or hateful/hurtful language is ever permitted.
For minors under 13, it is best to note that a parent or legal guardian is helping with the fundraising.
Please immediately contact us with any suspicious activity.
We will immediately remove any fundraiser that seems unauthentic.
Follow Up: Within your campaign dashboard, you can provide updates. We ask that our participants give weekly updates with how the campaign is going, what you are doing, and where you still need help/support. Keeping people informed of your progress generates additional energy and support for you as well as builds trust for you and your fundraiser.
Personal Thank You Notes: Sending personal thank you notes to your donors will not only offer gratitude for support, it will make the donor feel great about having helped you and they will be more likely to repeat the donation either with you or with other animals in need. Once your campaign is complete, we ask that you send personal thank you notes to your donors. This creates connection, trust and authenticity for your campaign.
Report How Your Money is Spent: Within your campaign dashboard, you have the opportunity to upload documents as well as updates. As you withdraw and spend your campaign money, we ask that you upload reciepts and/or information for how your money is being spent toward your dream. This will offer accountibilty for your spending as well as build a LOT of trust with your donors.

6. FEES

Registration in Save Animals Fund is free for all users. For fundraisers, there is a 5% commission on what is collected. PayPal, our payment processor, will also charge a standard payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30.

Save Animals Fund reserves the right to determine the value of the fees for use of the platform and website and reserves the right to change the value of the fees at any time. Save Animals Fund will use reasonable efforts to keep the information on the value of commissions published on the Website and in these Terms and Conditions up to date. We encourage you to periodically check the website for updated commission information.

7. MONTHLY DONATIONS

The user will be able to make monthly donations through the website by selecting or entering the value he/she wishes to donate. The user authorizes Save Animals Fund to automatically charge the user on each billing date according to the billing period chosen by the user. The billing date will be the date the User made their first donation. The user may cancel recurring donations at any time by submitting a request through our contact information or by canceling the monthly billing through PayPal and the donations will be suspended for the next billing period.

Donations will be paid through PayPal (payment processor available on the website). The payment will be charged to your credit/debit card or your PayPal account balance will be debited immediately after the donation is made, depending on the amount chosen by the user. Once the transaction is processed, we will send you an electronic receipt of the transaction to the email address you provide.

If you find any inconsistency in your billing, please contact us through our contact details or you can make the claim through the customer service of the corresponding payment platform (Stripe or PayPal).

If your card is declined, you will receive an error message. No payment will be charged to your card and no order will be processed. There may be a pending transaction on your account until your card issuing bank withdraws the authorization. This usually takes 2 to 5 business days. Your card may be declined for a number of reasons, such as insufficient funds, AVS (Address Verification System) mismatch or you have entered an incorrect security code.

If your payment is declined, you will need to provide an alternative payment method or provide another card on which the respective donation payment can be charged and processed.

Your payment details will be treated and protected securely and for the sole purpose of processing donations. Save Animals Fund reserves the right to engage any commercially available payment processor to process your data for the sole purpose of processing donations.

8. DISCLAIMER

Fundraising campaigns created and published by users through the website are not offered or published by Save Animals Fund. Save Animals Fund's services are limited solely to providing the platform and virtual space to publish such campaigns and facilitate donations by other users. Save Animals Fund is not responsible for the accuracy, security or legality of the information contained in the campaigns published on the website by users.

Disputes arising between users will be resolved by the users themselves. Save Animals Fund does not accept any claim in relation to the information contained in the campaigns published by users on the website. Communications established between users as a result of any connection within the website are the sole and exclusive responsibility of the users.

In the event that one or more users or any third party initiates any type of claim or legal action against another user or users, each and every user involved in such claims or actions exempts Save Animals Fund from any liability.

9. LICENSE TO USE THE PLATFORM

Save Animals Fund gives you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable and non-exclusive license to use the software provided to you by Save Animals Fund as part of the services. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use and enjoy the benefit of the services as provided by Save Animals Fund, in the manner permitted by these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

The user agrees not to use the platform and the services negligently, for fraudulent purposes or in an unlawful manner. Likewise, the user agrees not to partake in any conduct or action that could damage the image, interests or rights of Save Animals Fund or third parties.

This service prohibits sending of messages, that: (1) Any kind of messages that are catalogued as SPAM. (2) Are harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, in bad faith, unethical or otherwise illegal content (3) distribute trojans, viruses or other malicious computer software (4) Are intending to commit fraud, impersonating other persons, phishing, scams, or related crime (5) distribute intellectual property without ownership or a license to distribute such property (6) Breach, in any way, the terms of service, privacy policy or rules of this web site or the recipients.

Save Animals Fund reserves the right to terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, and without liability to you, if Save Animals Fund believes that you have violated any of these terms or interfered with the use of the website or service by others.

Save Animals Fund is not responsible for the accuracy, safety or legality of the content that users provide to the website. Save Animals Fund disclaims all liability in connection with the user content provided by the user through the website. Save Animals Fund may, at any time and without prior notice, filter, remove, edit or block any user content that, in our judgment, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. If a user or content owner notifies us that user content allegedly does not conform to these Terms, we may investigate the allegation and determine in our sole discretion whether to remove the user content, which we reserve the right to do at any time and without notice. You acknowledge and agree that Save Animals Fund reserves the right to, and may from time to time, monitor any and all information transmitted or received through the service for operational and other purposes. If at any time Save Animals Fund decides to monitor content, Save Animals Fund continues to assume no responsibility or liability for the content or any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of the content. During monitoring, information may be examined, recorded, copied and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Save Animals Fund contains content of third-party licensors to Save Animals Fund, which is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other laws.
